Q: What is an escape room?

A: An escape room is a unique social experience where players work together to solve a series of challenges and puzzles within a limited amount of time in order to escape or complete an objective.

Q: I see that your rooms are similar to episodes in a television series or movie. Is there an order that I should follow?

A: It is not necessary to play our escape rooms in any particular order. Our rooms can be solved independently and do not require information from other rooms. Our suggestion would be to choose the room that most interests you and start there.

Q: how long does the game last?

A: Most of our escape rooms typically take 60 minutes to complete, however, A Nightly Reminder, our escape room for two participants lasts 30 minutes.

Q: is immersion escape rooms a franchise?

A: Immersion is not a franchise. We are a locally owned escape room company based in Charlottesville, Virginia, built by passionate puzzle designers and friends.

Q: how much does the game cost?

A: Our 60 minute escape rooms cost $25.00 per participant and our 30 minute escape room costs $15.00 per participant.

Q: Are there any age restrictions to play your rooms?

A: We do not have any age restrictions to play our rooms, however, some of our puzzles can be on the challenging side. We recommend players of ages 14 and up. We will require a participating adult to accompany any players under the age of 18.

Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?

A: Absolutely. You may purchase a gift voucher on our gifts page

Q: What if I want to play one of your escape rooms, but I do not have enough players to fill the room?

A: If your group does not fill all the available slots to one of our escape rooms, you may be paired with other players to aid in your escape. This is the social aspect of that game that makes it unique. However, if you would prefer to play without others, you may purchase all the available tickets for your preferred time slot.

Q: I would like to make a reservation for my team outside of your normal business hours. Is that possible?

A: Of course. We are available for private team building, student, or special events 7 days a week. Just contact us and we'll work with you to make arrangements and plan your Immersion experience.

Q: i made a reservation and my plans have changed. what is your cancellation policy?

A: We understand that plans change and unforeseen circumstances arise. If you are unable to make your reservation date or time, we will gladly change it to a date and time that best fits your schedule. If you are unsure of your plans, you also have the option to receive a gift voucher which will be valid for up to six months. Unfortunately, we will be unable to issue refunds for completed purchases.
